"What separates us from the rest? We skip many of the hindering formalities found in hardcore milsim units and focus fully on a realistic simulation experience. If you screw something up, you won't have someone shouting at your face, and I don't have to call my superiors "Sir". But if we don't stick to tactics as a team, we won't survive. The gameplay is as real and challenging as it gets, and we train harder than any other unit to prepare for it."
What is B.A.D. PMC?
B.A.D. PMC, or Battlefield Assistance and Deployment Private Military Company, is the official Arma 3 paramilsim unit of Bad Company Gaming Community. It has a well-rooted background and was established in Arma 2 as an ACE/ACRE unit in 2015, and has been dedicated to realism in gameplay and training since then.
B.A.D. PMC simulates a western PMC (private military company), and is structured under various corporate departments to protect its practices, with each department having similar authority and responsibilities to General Staff in other milsim units. These departments assure proper functionality of the unit inside and outside of the game. In-game, we have our standard command hierarchy with ranks and combat roster just like any other milsim unit.
What does B.A.D. PMC do?
We give great importance to tactics and procedures based on real-world knowledge. We don't refer to superiors as "Sir", and everyone calls each other by their names instead. A friendly, but serious environment is what we're all about. We have a strict recruitment policy, and only mature people with a similar mindset succeed in joining the unit.
B.A.D. PMC recruits get to receive training from people with real life military experience and take part in private events later on. We firmly assert that we train harder and more seriously than any other milsim unit. Our Rifleman Training sessions for new recruits last well over 20 hours. Upon completing their training, B.A.D. PMC members gain full access to our semi-private Realism server, which runs a heavily modified version of the well known Patrol Ops framework turned into a persistent campaign.

♦ Every recruit specializes in a squad-level role after completing training. You can pick between Grenadier, Designated Marksman, Automatic Rifleman / Machinegunner, Anti-Tank Specialist, Combat Medic and more!
♦ We offer "certifications" to show knowledge and achievement in other aspects of gameplay such as mortar usage, sniping or various types of piloting. These include receiving additional specialised training. Only certified members are able to use the appropriate equipment on our Realism server and in official events.
♦ In B.A.D. PMC, we're focused on YOU. We don't have predetermined operation times (except special events), and we play on our Realism server whenever there are enough people online. Also, thanks to our certification system, your experience will never be routine. You will always be able to improve and diversify your skills. Certified members also become capable instructors in their specialisations, and our policy is for everyone to have something to teach to others.

What do you expect from new members?
♦ The same things we expect from all Bad Company clan members: you must be mature and respectful.
♦ You must be interested in tactical team-play. Not only that, but you need to adopt a realistic play style. This should be easier and more intuitive once you get to play on our Realism server.
♦ You must respect the hierarchy of the unit and be willing to carry out orders given by superiors.
♦ You must inform us of your absence and keep in touch even when not active in-game.
♦ You must have a properly working microphone.
♦ Even if you meet all of these requirements, there is no guarantee of acceptance. All applications are evaluated individually and successful applicants will be those who have the potential to fit in well with the rest of the unit.
How do I apply?
